🔥I've wanted to try this out for so long. And on something that didn't really matter too much. So the stool got burned.
🔥Is it Shou Sugi ban, Charred or Yakasugi? I think the name is in the type of Wood and depth of burn that would give it its name.
🔥You tell me? I could spend hours searching and probably still be as confused.
🔥Many years ago I would have called it charred. Now with so many Japanese words and techniques entering our vocabulary it's become a trend, that does get lost in translation.
