Oak wardrobe frame not what it appears to be.

This Oak Wardrobe base frame was brought to me with a few issues. Wear from the wobbly Oak leg had dug into the Pine frame. 

 
Modern methods and glue to hold this huge wardrobe had to be used to make it structurally sound.
The original frame just wasn't up to the task.

I do like to use the right glue for the job. In this case I stand by what I did. They had used hide glue to bond the joints of the frame.

But the Pine frame really wasn't strong enough to take the weight.
